The wellness conversation has become noisy. Even overwhelming. We are told to do more, buy more, optimize more, and BE more.
But real wellness isn’t about perfection. It’s about finding ease...in how we eat, move, rest, and connect and function daily.
I’m Sarah, a health psychology doctoral candidate, writer, and wellness educator who explores how evidence-based lifestyle medicine and mindful living intersect in our everyday lives. My work is rooted in psychoneuroimmunology (the science of how our thoughts, emotions, and daily practices shape our physical and emotional resilience) and in balneology (the science of water as therapy).
Through my E.A.S.E. Framework, I help people and organizations design experiences, practices, and environments that support sustainable well-being.
Before focusing on writing and education, I spent over a decade bringing wellness to life in real-world settings, from creating nutrient-dense menus and zero-proof beverage programs to developing retreat frameworks and wellness education at Murrieta Hot Springs Resort and The Springs Resort. Those years as the resident wellness expert taught me that science matters... but so does the soul.
Today, I write and speak about the lived experience of wellness and how food, movement, rest, and belonging become medicine when practiced with intention. Whether through a talk, a workshop, or an article, my goal remains the same: to make evidence-based wellness approachable, accessible, sustainable, and rooted in ease.
