Let’s face it: the nutrition and wellness conversation can sometimes spark feelings of shame, and shame never leads to sustainable growth. I believe in kicking shame to the curb and focusing instead on sustainable healing—grounded in the powerful connection between the brain, body, and immune system.
This is where psychoneuroimmunology inspires much of my work: showing how our thoughts, stress levels, and daily practices directly shape our health and resilience.
At Murrieta Hot Springs Resort in California and The Springs Resort in Colorado, I bring this philosophy to life by creating approachable experiences of well-being. From guiding nutrient-dense, seasonal menus and expanding zero-proof beverage programs, to leading wellness talks and highlighting the restorative power of geothermal soaking, my role is about making well-being both practical and joyful.
I draw from my background in teaching, F&B experience, nutritional functional health training, and my doctoral studies in Health Psychology to create offerings that are authentic, sustainable, and shame-free. I’m also in the final stretch of my PhD research, which explores how geothermal bathing can foster belonging and well-being in veterans.
At the heart of all I do is a simple mission: to help people find ease, connection, and renewal in ways that last far beyond their time at a retreat or on vacation.
